One of my favourite go to fakeaway meals when slimming, taste exactly like a Chinese takeaway meal!
Chicken – Boil the chicken until cooked through, personally I like to cut into medium to large chunks like a takeaway curry.
Curry sauce – I prefer to use Mayflower curry sauce in medium (This can be found in B&M stores in the UK) Depending on your preference, I prefer the sauce to be a bit thicker. So I normally add a bit more mixture to achieve this. Once cooked add the chicken to the sauce.
Fried Rice – Add two raw eggs to the wok, at the same time, add cooked rice and mix through. Once you’ve mixed well, add Light Soy Sauce. Fry until rice is a golden. (Free on Slimming World)
Salt & Pepper Chips – Preheat oven at 180 degrees (fan assisted)
Peel and slice potatoes into thick chips, parboil for 10 minutes. Once done, drain potatoes.
Place the potatoes on the oven tray that’s been sprayed with Fry Light. Season with jdseasoning Salt & Pepper chips and mix well. (Free on Slimming World)
Cook in the oven for around 25 minutes.
Slice onions and red pepper into strips, fry in the wok, once the Salt & Pepper Chips have around 5 minutes left on the clock, add the onions and peppers. Mix through the place back into the oven for the reminder of the 5 minutes.
